Date of Completion: 2021

Location: London

Sector: Mixed-Use

Spread over 13-storeys, including four basement levels, this unique, purpose-built development is created specifically for Soho’s film and creative industries for years to come. The building contains high-spec office space, retail, restaurants, an art gallery/art education use, a nightclub, and eight apartments.

EP&S was appointed by the mechanical contractor to assess expansion requirements on the low-temperature hot water (LTHW) systems, condenser water systems (CDW), and domestic hot water systems (DHWS). EP&S was also asked to provide a building isolation proposal in order to isolate any plant and pipework vibration from emanating into the building structure.

Additionally, to the above works, EP&S was also tasked with the job of providing modular framework supports for the various air handling units that sat above the lift shafts on the roof. This was an intricate design that took careful consideration due to the lack of space available and the point-loading capabilities of the building structure.
