Part of a new major development in one of London’s most desirable riverside locations, sitting adjacent to Westminster and next to the London Eye, Southbank Place buildings 4A & 4B was a prestigious project for EP&S. With building 4A topping out at 36-storeys and building 4B topping out at 29-storeys, the views over the city are unrivalled. 

Working with the main mechanical contractor to provide the design for the expansion devices required, EP&S undertook full expansion calculations for all risers & lateral pipe run-outs. The low-temperature hot water (LTHW) and chilled water (CHW) systems required expansion provisions, particularly in the risers which ran from the basement level to the top of each building.
