Consultancy

From the offset EP&S look to decipher all project information in order to propose a scheme that is both fit for purpose, and commercially viable. As part of our consultancy service, we mark-up design drawings indicating the areas where pipework expansion is prevalent. From this we make recommendations as to whether the expansion can be taken up using the pipework’s natural flexibility, or if expansion equipment is required. Utilising the pipework’s natural flexibility is always the preferred choice, and we are strongly opposed to supplying expansion products unnecessarily. All selections are subject to various expansion calculations as a means of justifying our choices, and providing clarity to the client.

Site Visits & Sign Off

EP&S aim to conduct site visits at various stages throughout the project, ensuring that the installation process falls in line with our proposed scheme. At EP&S we pride ourselves on working closely with the client, and regularly take part in site-wide checks of all supplied equipment prior to the testing of any services. This ensures that any potential issues can be identified and that the system will work correctly first time around. We are happy to sign off our expansion scheme and take responsibility for the scheme and equipment proposed.

Seminars & Workshops

All our seminars are led by EP&S employees who individually have over 25 years of experience in the industry. EP&S led seminars cover all bases of thermal expansion and building isolation, aiming to provide the audience with an understanding of the key fundamentals to each topic. At EP&S we also provide a workshop session with site operatives if requested. During this session we talk through the equipment supplied, ensuring good practice prevails throughout the installation programme.

BIM Product Families

A large range of BIM models can be found for various metal expansion joints, rubber expansion bellows, anchors and slide guides throughout our website. These BIM models can be easily collaborated into any Revit file, ultimately, making the design process easier.
