65 Davies Street features 65000 sq. ft of high-end office space in London’s West End, located directly above Crossrail Ltd’s Bond Street Station. With the location being where it is, the 7-storey office building is designed to be acoustically isolated from the Elizabeth Line station below.
EP&S was appointed by the mechanical contractor to assess expansion requirements on the low-temperature hot water (LTHW) system within the shell and core of the building, along with all pipework runouts on the floors. The acoustic break also needed consideration, and we had to ensure that all mechanical pipework services crossing this break were acoustically isolated between the two different boundaries.
